Is your gun powered by gas, carbon dioxide or HPA?
If you use an airsoft gun or airgun that is powered by green gas, carbon dioxide or HPA, it is a must to use high quality propellants. In our range you will find green gas in different pressures for use in varying temperatures, carbon dioxide cartridges in different sizes to fit different models and HPA tanks in varying liter sizes and material choices.
Green gas:
This is the most common gas used for gas-powered airsoft models in Sweden and is easy to use. The gas, which consists of a mixture of propane and silicone oil, is an effective propellant that is available in several different varieties with different pressures: White, Green, Red and Black. Which green gas you should use depends on the type of weapon, performance but above all temperature. All gas needs heat to expand so in colder temperatures, regular “green” green gas can work worse. Then there is the option of using the red or black gases with higher pressures.
Greengas also contains silicone oil that lubricates your airsoft gun while you are using it. However, this does not mean that you do not have to take care of your gas-powered gun or rifle, you still need to apply liquid silicone oil to gaskets and moving parts.
Carbonic acid (Co2):
A very common propellant used by airsoft pistols, airsoft rifles, air pistols and air rifles. Co2 is usually packaged in small disposable cartridges in different sizes, the most common being 12g or 88g. Carbon dioxide is easy to use and is less temperature sensitive than, for example, green gas as carbon dioxide expands about 3x as fast. This means that pistols and rifles that use carbon dioxide as a propellant will work better in low temperatures. However, be aware that the muzzle velocity may increase in warm temperatures. Carbon dioxide has no silicone additives in its composition, which means that weapons that use carbon dioxide as a propellant need more care than their green gas counterparts. Apply liquid silicone oil to seals and moving parts to ensure that your weapon functions properly.
Air (HPA):
Air-powered rifles, commonly called HPA (high pressure air) models, are one of the latest developments in airsoft. These models have an air motor that is powered by high-pressure air that is stored in a separate air tank. The air tanks come in several different sizes and materials.
