Green gas powered pistol M9 AI is a faithful replica of the American pistol, which has been in service with the American armed forces since 1989.

The pistol is made entirely of metal , which increases the weight of the replica and gives it a sense of authenticity. It features a magazine located in the grip - its capacity is 25 BBs 6 mm caliber.

Every trigger pull causes the slide to recoil backwards ( blow back ), which cocks the hammer, and the forward return movement loads the BB into the barrel, from where it will be shot at a velocity of 295 fps after pulling the trigger. In situations where there are no BBs in the magazine, the slide remains in the rear position . Its release is possible after pulling the slide release lever.

The trigger operates in SA ( Single Action mode - pulling the trigger releases the previously cocked hammer by the slide or manually cocked hammer) and DA ( Double Action mode - reloading and cocking of the striking mechanism occurs every time by pulling the trigger through its full travel).

The trigger mechanism is blocked - as in the original - by a bilateral lever safety . The safety disconnects the trigger from the striking mechanism (valve striker) so in the "safe" position (blocked - covered red dot) pulling the trigger will not cause damage to the mechanisms or, most importantly, a shot.

The replica is equipped with an accuracy-enhancing adjustable hop-up system , which backspins the BB in the barrel, imparting a rotational motion similar to a bullet fired from a rifled barrel.

Under the barrel is located a Weaver rail , allowing for the attachment of a laser sight or tactical flashlight.

The sighting devices are a fixed front sight and rear sight . The gun comes with a basic pack of BBs and a pouch.
