ESP 20” Easy Lock Telescopic Baton in hardened steel + rotatable holster

ESP button-locked hardened expandable police baton with retractable button (Easy Lock) and triangular anti-roll end piece.

This type of baton can be opened by either knocking it out or by pulling the tubes out towards the tip of the baton. The locking mechanism then locks the tubes in the expanded position. The lock is released when you press the button at the end of the handle (end piece) and push the tip of the baton inwards. The baton works just like its counterparts ASP TALON, B&T TRITON and BONOWI EKA CAMLOCK etc.

Easy Lock hardened batons meet the requirements of the Swedish and German standards for telescopic batons and have received the certificate issued by the testing laboratory at MPA Hannover, Germany.

During drop tests, the baton was dropped from a height of 2 meters onto concrete (the German standard only requires wood, which is a much softer surface). The baton was then able to close just as smoothly as before.

The baton has been tested by opening and closing 6,000 times, and the mechanism continues to function flawlessly.

The locking mechanism was tested repeatedly by immersing the baton in mud and then everything worked normally.

The black nickel-zinc surface treatment of the baton's telescopic tube ensures resistance to scratches.

360 degree rotatable holder comes with the expandable baton

All hardened batons are supplied with a professional rotating plastic holder with Quick Change System, for which a European patent has been granted. It can be rotated in relation to the belt by a full circle of 360 degrees with 16 locking positions. This holder is included in the price of the baton.

The BHT plastic holder enables automatic extension of the telescopic tubes when the baton is pulled out. The baton will already be fully extended when it is removed from the holder, saving time in a critical situation.

This holder allows:

Very fast drawing of the baton with just one hand, as there is almost no friction thanks to automatic opening of the holder after the nylon strap is loosened, with the nylon strap unfastened it makes it possible to carry the expanded baton.

The holder is equipped with the UBC-05-A belt clip (part of the Quick Change System) which allows the user to quickly switch between different plastic and nylon ESP holders with a rotation mechanism. The clip itself remains attached to the belt – you just need to click on the chosen holder.
