The space pen from Fisher Space Pen is a historic product created by the company's founder Paul C. Fisher. The gas-pressurized ink cartridge that Paul C. Fisher patented in 1965 made the ballpoint pen usable in space. However, the gas pressurization in the cartridge also made it very useful here on Earth. Fisher Space Pen pens work at all angles, in extreme heat, cold, rain and generally harsh environments. The gas-pressurized cartridge also lasts much longer than a regular cartridge - and can then of course be replaced with a new cartridge.
