Certified stab-resistant plates – stops 40 joules!

The outer material of the knife protection vest is made of durable Cordura and can be worn under a regular shirt or jacket. The vest has 2.2 mm thick knife-resistant plastic plates all around the vest. The chest and back also have 2.5 mm thick aluminum stab-resistant plates that are certified in protection class K3.

The plates stop a full 40 joules of penetration force from a knife blade with a hardness of 52-55 Rockwell C and a weight of 2500g. For comparison, 25 joules of force equals protection level KR1 according to the National Police Board's standard for knife protection.

The protective vest is compact and, in addition to protecting against knives and needles, also provides excellent protection against hard kicks and blows, as well as against cutting objects such as iron pipes, batons, knuckledusters, etc. The vest effectively dampens such blows from damaging the body.

The vest is K3 certified. Certified according to statutory regulations for personal protective equipment ( PPE category III - Directive 89/686/EEC – ENISO 13688:2013 – EU 2016_425) and stab and cut protection (VPAM KDIW 2004)
