This smaller Ultima model 2125KV features a 5" Full-Tang stainless steel blade with a black titanium nitride coating. And patented Veff serrations designed by Tom Veff.

Tom Veff is a well-known knife designer who came up with the Veff-Teeth - with a 60 degree angle on the teeth that extends from the edge to a bit into the knife (about 2-3cm in) you get a dramatically improved cutting ability on ropes, tapes, hoses, leather and more.

This type of toothing resulted in the cutting points biting directly into the material being worked with, as well as deeper digging when slicing and carving.
