SOG stands for Studies and Observation Group, this was an elite American force formed during the Vietnam War that carried out various Commando operations. The SOG force developed and produced its own equipment and the knives were designed to withstand the harshest conditions and the toughest situations.

SEAL is an elite unit within the American army. When they had to choose their knife, they had extremely tough requirements, the choice fell on this knife which is now called SEAL. The knife is of very high quality and made to handle the toughest situations.

Hardened blade and handle
The blade is made of hardened 440A stainless steel and covered with a protective outer layer. The handle is made of Zytel, a fiberglass reinforced plastic that is very durable.
